Andrew Gavas Obituary, Death –  It is with the heaviest of hearts and the most deep feeling of sorrow that I must share the news that my dearest and most treasured brother, Andrew Gavas, has passed away. Your unexpected passing away at such a young age has all of us in a condition that can only be described as great bewilderment and sadness. The jokester of the family is no longer with us, which is a terrible loss. Andrew, my oldest brother, was renowned for his compassion and generosity towards all other men, regardless of whether he knew them or not; he was always ready to provide a hand in a covert manner and express sympathy.

This trait earned him a reputation for being one of the most well-liked people in our family. This quality will be ingrained in my mind for the rest of my life. He was never the sort of man to nurse grudges; rather, he was a humble and charitable person right up until the very end of his life who endeavoured to do good throughout his career and to aid those who were less fortunate than himself. This remained true until the very end of his life. He never harboured ill will against anyone and never did so.

He was able to make a great number of wonderful friends and friends for life within the London Greek community and beyond through his business, Oak Insurance Services. He began the company with nothing and turned it into a flourishing venture, a firm of which he was incredibly proud. He was able to achieve this by starting from nothing and working hard. We are all left with a very big vacuum that is filled with gloom and void all around us since we had the good fortune to know him and to be able to refer to him as my brother.
