Dennis Hunt Obituary, Abington MA, Dennis Hunt Has Tragically Passed Away Sammy Loco, September 2, 2023 Dennis Hunt Obituary, Death Cause – On August 30, 2023, Dennis T. Hunt, who had most recently been a resident of Abington but had grown up in Hingham, passed away in a manner that was completely unexpected. He was 64 years old. Dennis graduated with the class of 1977 from Abington High School where he attended school. In addition to his employment as a gardener, Dennis spent more than twenty years working as a Laborer for the Department of Conservation and Recreation. It would be impossible to exaggerate the significance of family in Dennis’s life. The happiness and well-being of his children and grandkids was the primary focus of his life. Dennis’s love for his family was a reflection of the love that his mother and father, who were the most loving people in his life, had for him. Dennis’s mother and father were the most loving people in his life. Dennis was a kind and good-natured man who was able to make friends out of everybody he came in contact with because to his generous personality. He was a devoted platelet donor who, throughout the course of his years of service with the Red Cross, was instrumental in the prevention of over two thousand deaths. Every week, Dennis contributed financial support to Children’s Hospital Boston, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and Tufts Children’s Hospital. He was a keen follower of New England sports, and the Boston Bruins and the New England Patriots were his two favorite teams to watch compete in their respective sports. One of the most memorable experiences of his life was the day he skated in the alumni game for the Boston Bruins the year before. The opportunity to serve as the coach for the Pembroke Youth Hockey team was quite humbling. He did not miss a single sporting event that any of his grandchildren took part in and supported them all the way. Dennis loved being outside and had a special spot in his heart for animals of all shapes and sizes. He would often bring home stray cats and dogs. husband of Elizabeth “Letty” Hunt of Abington, Massachusetts, for the past four decades; she is his loyal and treasured wife.
