George Mack Obituary, George Mack Has Died – Death Sophia Mia, September 3, 2023 George Mack Obituary, Death – On August 29, 2023, George “Mickey” Mack Jr., who had reached the age of 93 at the time of his passing, passed away. Jeanne Helen Mack, formerly known as Jackson, has been a devoted companion for the past 49 years and may now be called Mack. Beloved father of David D. Mack, Tracy Jo (Michael) Fink, the late Shirley Jo, Victoria (Vincent) McDonough, the late Robert (Rachel) O’Dowd, and the late Danny O’Dowd. Also survived by his grandchildren David D. Mack, Tracy Jo (Michael) Fink, the late Robert (Rachel) O’Dowd, and Danny O’Dowd. His grandkids David D. Mack and Victoria (Vincent) McDonough are also among those who carry on his legacy. Highly regarded and treasured son of the late Susie “nee Frisco” Mack and the late George Mack Sr. Matthew, Elizabeth, Robert, Frank, David, Stacy, and Courtney, along with Brianna, all had the utmost respect for their cherished father. Up to the age of eight, I absolutely adored my great-grandpa. Beloved brother of James, who passed away before his wife Phyllis, and Samuel, who also passed away before his wife Lorraine. In addition to this, she is survived by her nieces and nephews, in addition to other relatives and friends of the family. Summit, Illinois was George’s home throughout his boyhood. A Corn Products and UOP LLC employee who graduated from Argo High School and has subsequently found employment there. He moved his family to Justice, Illinois, in order to raise his children up there. Once there, he got active in the community by joining the Sportsmen Club and acting as the former chief of the Justice Volunteer Fire Department. In addition, he was elected to the position of mayor of Justice. In his latter years, he and his wife made it a habit to spend a sizeable portion of each year in Pinellas Park, which is located in the state of Florida. There, they would spend most of their time fishing, and it would be a wonderful place for them to enjoy retirement together. Obituary
