Jermani Thompson Obituary, Jermani Thompson Has Died – Death Sophia Mia, September 3, 2023 Jermani Thompson Obituary, Death – Jermani Thompson was still a young woman when she started working at the New Orleans Airport as an airport baggage handler. She had just turned 26 years old at the time. Moving luggage from one airport to another was part of her employment responsibilities. As part of her work at the airport, she was required to transport and store baggage according to the established protocol. Her mother, who was inconsolable, revealed to the news organization that Thompson was an exceptional basketball player who had previously attended Hesston College in Kansas and Tougaloo College in Mississippi. Her mother said that Thompson had attended both of these schools. Her mother is unable to find any consolation because of the death of her daughter even to this day. She continued to participate on the basketball teams at Riverside Academy and East St. John High School even after she had graduated from high school. During her final year of high school, she was a member of the Riverside Academy Eagles, which was the team she played for. The station asserts that the unfortunate event took occurred on the “apron,” which is the area where airplanes are loaded and unloaded in addition to being serviced. The “apron” was the location of the unlucky occurrence that ultimately led to the catastrophe. She was rushed to the hospital immediately after the occurrence, which took place about 10 p.m., but unfortunately, she was proclaimed dead not long after she got at the institution, as was disclosed by the officials.
