Nick Filca Obituary, Death – On December 6, 2020, Nicholas Peter Mavrakis, who had reached the age of 54 years old at the time of his departure, was taken from this world. Although he was born in Schaumburg, he had been a resident in Elk Grove Village for the past thirteen years. This was in spite of the fact that he was born in Schaumburg. Nick Mavrakis was a much-loved son of Helen and Peter Mavrakis, who passed away, a dear brother of Maria (Scott) McCartney, and a doting uncle to Kristi and Peter McCartney.

His death came as a complete surprise. During the past 18 years, he has been married to Maria Yanez Mavrakis, and the couple has co-parented two children, Niko Alexander and Gabriela Jessica. During this time, he has been responsible for both of their duties as parents. In addition to this, he is survived by a substantial number of devoted friends as well as members of his extended family. He passed away recently. He will be sorely missed by everyone.

There will be a visitation for the departed on Thursday, December 10, beginning at three in the afternoon and continuing until eight in the evening. The visitation will be held at the funeral home. Visitors are required to wear something that covers their faces prior to entering the establishment, and they are required to exit the premises as soon as they have done paying their respects and completed whatever it was that brought them there in the first place after they have finished whatever it was that brought them there.

Nick passed away in 2002. Nick Mavrakis lost his battle with cancer in the year 2000. After the departure of his father, Peter, Nick is left with only one remaining relative, and that is his mother, Helen. Nick himself passed away before his father. He was the cherished son of Helen and Peter Mavrakis as well as the doting father of their children, Niko Alexander Mavrakis and Gabriela Jessica Mavrakis. Helen and Peter Mavrakis named their children after him.
