Roger Cole Obituary, Death Cause – A somber incident unfolded on Tuesday evening in Pickaway County, as a motorcyclist’s life was tragically cut short in a head-on collision. The Ohio State Highway Patrol reports that the crash occurred around 5:35 p.m., at the intersection of U.S. Route 62 and Harrisburg Road. The sequence of events leading to the devastating collision began when a Hyundai Sonata was traveling north on U.S. Route 62, preparing to make a left turn onto Harrisburg Road. At that moment, a Ford F-150, also traveling north, collided with the rear of the Hyundai. The impact forced the Hyundai to veer left of center, directly into the southbound lane.

In a heart-wrenching turn of events, the Hyundai crossed into the path of an oncoming Triumph motorcycle. The motorcycle was being operated by 60-year-old Roger Cole, who bore the brunt of the collision, resulting in a head-on impact. Roger Cole was immediately transported to Grant Medical Center in critical condition, where he valiantly fought for his life. Sadly, despite the medical team’s efforts and his own resilience, Roger Cole succumbed to his injuries on August 30, as confirmed by the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Thankfully, the drivers and passengers within the Hyundai and Ford emerged from the collision without any physical harm. However, this tragic incident has taken a more distressing turn, as one of the drivers involved has been taken into custody on suspicion of driving while impaired.
