Roger Ordish Obituary, A Remarkable Life Remembered EternalTributesOnline, August 27, 2023 Roger Ordish Obituary, Death Cause – It is with heavy hearts that we come together to announce the passing of one of our cherished members, Roger Ordish. As we reflect on his time with us at ROS, we are filled with both sorrow and gratitude for the impact he had on us all. Though Roger’s time with us was relatively short, his presence left an indelible mark on our hearts, both on and off the stage. His contribution during our centenary show was nothing short of remarkable. His stage presence was powerful, and his rendition of “Modern Major General” and his brilliantly timed comedic moments, like ‘Thank You Very Much’, remain etched in our memories. Beyond his performances, Roger was a force to be reckoned with – fiercely quick-witted, unconditionally professional, and incredibly loyal. His dedication to our cast was a testament to his professional career that spanned many years. We were privileged to witness his talents and passion firsthand. We are immensely grateful that Roger was able to pursue his passion for performing in Richmond, participating in both RADS’ production of “Macbeth” and our own Centenary Concert just weeks before his passing. Our shared love for music and the stage created a bond of friendship and camaraderie that we will always hold dear. We hope that these shows held as many cherished memories for Roger as they do for us. Roger, your presence was an honor, and your memory will forever shine brightly among us. We’ll never forget you, nor the sight of your wonderfully distinctive orange socks! In this time of loss, we extend our deepest condolences, love, and strength to Susie and their family. May they find solace in the memories, love, and support of those who care deeply for them. Roger, you brought joy and laughter to our lives, and your legacy will continue to inspire us. Rest in peace, dear friend. Obituary
