On a Friday evening, Roy Arterbury, a dedicated husband, a loving father, and a retired Senior Master Sergeant, passed away while out on a stroll with his cherished wife. He was a Senior Master Sergeant. He was taken off life support immediately after arriving at the emergency room, despite the best efforts of the medical staff. They were residents of Rockport, Texas at the time, and they were making the most of the serene beauty of the location that they called home.

His presence in our lives was evidence of the strength of character he possessed, and the warmth, wisdom, and generosity with which he lived his life allowed him to touch the hearts of many people.
