Johnson said that Esparza’s condition at the hospital remained unchanged from the previous update. Johnson indicated in the same email to parents that the school district will not be publishing the name of a fourth kid in the Civic who had incurred injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening. Johnson made this statement in response to a question about whether or not the school district will disclose the name of the student.

Both Kamorra Campbell, 17, from Bartlett and Tahlulay Henry, 16, from Elgin were found to have departed away, as stated by the office of the Kane County coroner.
