Valerie McManus Obituary, Death – Valerie McManus, who was lovingly referred to as the Boys Mama by her family and friends, died away in recent days. The people who cared for her the most and those who were in the closest of relationships with her warmly referred to her by this moniker. This is something that they have attributed to the fact that they were exposed to the band when they were younger. They are the cause for the band’s ongoing success and the motor that keeps it running strong after all of these years.

The band would not be where it is now without them. Horslips has had a very long-standing relationship with the McManus family, and the McManus clan is comprised of some of the most reliable and devoted of the organization’s friends and allies. Additionally, members of Mama’s Boys have said on several times that the creation of their band would not have been possible if it weren’t for the impact that Horslips had on them when they were younger.

In light of the incredibly distressing information that was just made public, we would like to offer our most heartfelt sympathies to the whole McManus family, and in especially to John, Pat, and Molly. We are deeply saddened by the news that was just shared. We are aware of how challenging this situation must be for everyone of you. Know that your loved ones, including your friends and family, are in your thoughts and prayers as you go through this challenging time.
